Toy Fair 2025: Hasbro Unleashes ‘Transformers’, ‘Beyblade’, And More

New York Toy Fair 2025 showcased some amazing toys from my pals at Hasbro. These are just a handfull of the absolutely epic offerings they showcased this year. Lets check them out below!
Transformers
Alchemist Prime
First up is the most dapper of dudes, Alchemist Prime. This 5.5in figure coverts between robot most and Cybertronian armored car mode. Now our bot Alchemist has a robot mustache and soul patch, and lenses over his robot eyes. He’s also a robot wizard — or the closest thing you are going to find to one in my humble opinion and that alone makes him one of the coolest of all of the 13 Primes in my book.
Crasher
Next up is the Deception Crasher. Now Crasher is rad because she was a gladiator during pre-war Cybertron and she was a fairly early follower of Megatron’s cause. This 5.5inch figure has both bot mode and a sports car vehicle mode.
Vortex
We get Vortex next. This guy has had a ton of toys over the years and it makes a lot of sense as a helicopter toy is always going to be fun when you can spin those blades in both bot and vehicle mode.
Void Rivals – Jetfire, Zertonia Solila, and Agorrian Darak
I love when comics “leap from the page” and the bots are about to do it again. Inspired by the Void Rivals comic, this figure pack contains an 11inch Jetfire action figure that converts between robot and jet modes and also comes with 3.75-inch Zertonian Solila and Agorrian Darak non-converting action figures. All three have articulated heads, arms, and legs for action poses. The pack includes a convention exclusive Void Rivals #1 comic featuring variant cover art by Marcelo Matere.
Void Rivals #1 began the Energon Universe in June 2023 from co-creators Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici. The first issue is currently on a landmark 11th printing nearly two years later!
Beyblade
Beyblade is having a moment right now with tournaments popping up everywhere I look. So it only makes sense that there are going to be a lot of exciting new Beyblade landing in the space. Toy Fair showcased three collaborations that fit perfectly into most pop-culture conversations.
Beybade X Marvel: Captain America Vs. Red Hulk
The Beyblade X and Marvel Collaboration showcases Captain America 4-750GB Vs. Red Hulk 1-80R. These will come in a multipack set that will include 2 right-spinning tops and two launches. These are going to look rad at tournament play.
Beybade X Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Vs. General Grievous
Hello There! The Beyblade X Star Wars Collab showcases Obi-Wan Kenobi 4-60P vs. General Grievous 3-80HN. This multipack has 2right-spinning tops along with two launchers and feture the X-Celerator Gear system to really level up your battle top game.
Beybade X Jurassic Park: T-Rex Vs. Mosasaurus
Beyblade X is also taking us into Jurassic Park territory with a T-Rex Vs. Mosasaurus multipack that has two right-spinning tips and 2two launches. There is also going to be a Spinosaurus vs. Quetzalcoatlus Multipack Set with two tops and launches as well so we will have to keep our eyes out for those!
Play-Doh
Play-Doh Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Creations Playset
This is such a rad toy that I would have loved as a kid and think is fantastic as an adult collector. The Play-Doh cowabunga creations set has a ton of ways to create and play with Raph, Donny, Mikey, and Leo using Play-doh and these TMNT themed accessories. The turtles have bendy limbs and a hidden Play-Doh mold in their shell so you can stamp out all sorts of cool little Play-Doh accessories while you play. This set also comes with a nunchuck knife, sai rolling cutter, roller staff, sword scissors, and 8 cans of Play-Doh so you don’t even have to buy extra to really get into it. This is the must have summer birthday toy for all those fans (young and old) of TMNT.
Play-Doh Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Slice and Blast Pizza Playset
The Pizza Launcher was one of my favorite toys as a kid and the idea of a Play-Doh themed pizza oven/TMNT sewer play set is just delightful on so many levels. This playset comes with a Michelangelo figure, three pots of Play-Doh, and a pizza launching playset. It’s also packed with Play-Doh molds to make a ton of “dph-iefied” gear.
Play-Doh Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutation Station Playset
Another set that Hasbro has coming for Play-Doh is this double delightful TMNT Mutation Station. I love this one the most because you can make Play-Doh clones of Mondo Geckpo and little lizards and you get a Donny figure with molds to make all sorts of ninja gear for him out of Play-Doh, This has such a great play appeal and I could easily see this being the standout of the announced offerings from this line.
