Skybound And Hasbro’s ‘The Transformers Compendium Set’ Launches On Kickstarter This April

Skybound and Hasbro have announced a Kickstarter campaign for the definitive Transformers collection: The Transformers Compendium Set collects the complete US and UK stories from the 1980s Marvel Comics in faux leather hardcover compendiums. It is set to launch on Tuesday, April 8th, at 6am PT. Each compendium is between 900 and 1200 pages in length with backers able to choose between Autobot or Decepticon editions … or both.

Totalling eight books, including The Transformers: Til All Are One Definitive Edition Box Set, and featuring a deluxe collector’s box with art from Daniel Warren Johnson, the campaign will also include pledge levels for signed editions by Simon Furman, “the most prolific Transformers comic book writer of all time and a major force in these stories.”
Campaign rewards will include:
- 1980s-style tech spec cards
- a challenge coin featuring Autobot and Decepticon shields
- patches, exclusive comics
- additional stretch goals to unlock as the campaign progresses.
