Daredevil Week: Anton’s Toybox

Welcome to the table,

With our horned hero returning to the small screen in Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, we thought it was time to take a look at some of the cool collectables that you can actually play with.

Daredevil: Born Again Marvel Legends Daredevil Action Figure

First up is the Daredevil: Born Again Marvel Legends figure. This bearded brawler is done up in 6-inch scale and mocked up to match the costume look from the newly released television series. It comes with a poseable head, arms, and legs as well as five accessories that include alternate hands, batons, and a rope dart line that can add a bit of display fun to your figure. Marvel Knights Marvel Legends Daredevil Action Figure

Next up is a favorite of mine: the Marvel Knights Marvel Legends Daredevil Action Figure. This 6-inch figure has a fantastic sculpt with rad ninja pants and a more Marco Checchetto-inspired design than some of the other figures I have seen. This collectable comes with 3 weapon accessories and has a ton of articulation to really give it some shelf eye draw. I adore this figure, it’s a 10/10 in my book. (Ed. Note: Me too! Marvel Legends Retro Collection Daredevil 3.75″ Action Figure

The Marvel Legends Retro figures hit the nostalgia button hard for me as I love the classic 3.75 scale figures from days of old. The blister card these guys come in also screams pull-off-peg toys from the late 1980s and early ’90s in such a beautiful way. This little dude comes with his battle batons and limited articulation but it’s totally okay for this scale of figure. You can grab this little guy for your shelf and toybox at the link.

Pop! Comic Covers Daredevil #189 (Black & White)

While not as easy to play with, it’s hard to deny that this black-and-white Funko Pop! Daredevil sat against a background of black-and-white the cover of Daredevil #189 is pretty fantastic. The vinyl bobblehead itself is 3.5-inch scale with a protective case of 7”W x 10.75”H x 3.25”D. I’m not a huge fan of classifying things as toys if you can’t actually play with them, but I really feel like this is close enough and deserves at least a little mention in this list for how rad it is. Marvel Minimates Daredevil & Kingpin 

This Minimates set had to make the list for two reasons. The first being that these 2-inch block-styled figures were originally created by Art Asylum in 2002 and recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary, a milestone in anyone’s book. The second: this pack contains the clashing characters from the new Daredevil: Born Again series and it only makes sense if you want to recreate your favorite moments from the show in block form you are going to need the toys to do it with. While Daredevil does not have the depth of variants that some of the other mainstream figures do, there is still plenty of toys to add to your toybox.
