Based on the hit manga by Kei Urana, Gachiakuta is set in a grungy world of extreme class division. When young Rudo is falsely accused of murder and flung into the garbage abyss, he must master new powers to get his revenge. Along the way, he joins a group known as the Cleaners, who battle the hulking trash beasts of the Pit. Before creating Gachiakuta, Kei Urana worked as a manga assistant on Soul Eater — the underground fashion and counter-cultural aesthetic has clearly influenced the world she created. If you’re a fan of classic beat-em-up shonen, Gachiakuta should be up your alley.
