Something For The Weekend: Our Pick Of The Posts

Welcome again to your new look Something For The Weekend where fellow Senior Editor, Brendan M. Allen, EiC Erik Amaya, and myself pick some of our favourite posts from the past week.
And this week I’ll start with my three picks…
- I was bowled over Josh Hicks’ new satirical sci fi saga, Hotelitor: Luxury-Class Defense and Hospitality Unit, and got to interview him on the eve of its publication this past week. Read it here now and maybe follow that up with my review of the graphic novel here.
- My second spot goes to Rachel Bellwoar who has been knocking it out of the park with her varied interviews. And this past week was no exception. I particularly liked her chat with comic boom legend Michael Avon Oeming, who she spoke with about his new Black Horse comic book,William of Newbury, here.
- Finally, I also recommend Richard Bruton’s latest Art for Art’s Sake special featuring many of the artists attending this year’s Lake Como Comic Art Festival, happening next weekend. Check it out here.
