FCBD 2025: First Look At Skybound’s ‘Energon Universe Special 2025’

Skybound/Image Comics/Hasbro, have revealed the lineup of variant covers and interior pages from this year’s Free Comic Book day offering, the Energon Universe Special 2025. And it’s promising the revelation of a new major character to draw readers in. The issue itself with feature three all new stories tied in to Transformers, G.I. JOE and Void Rivals.
This issue is written by Joshua Williamson, Robert Kirkman, and Daniel Warren Johnson with art from Andrea Milana, Conor Hughes, and Johnson Andrea Milana also provides the main cover.
As well as being free to those attending FCBD 2025 on Saturday May 3rd, if you’re unlucky in not getting a copy, or simply cannot attend, then the Energon Universe Special 2025 will also be available to buy in comic book shops on May 14th, 2025, featuring the same story content as the Free Comic Book Day 2025 special with all-new covers.
