Gunbrain is a 64-page one-shot comic book story about a young soldier and his War Dog. Tragedy occurs when they are sent to the front lines, sending them on a time-warping journey to face cosmic powers from beyond all from the seat of an ancient mecha, the Gunbrain. The Sci-fi robot adventure is created by Corey Lewis (Sharknife, Sun Bakery) and acts as a love-letter to vintage mecha shows and video games like Metal Slug. Overall, Gunbrain looks like the kind of Saturday morning cartoon fun we need more of in indie comics.
