Sony’s ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Coming to Netflix

KPop Demon Hunters is very much what it says in the title. A trio of demon hunters double as KPop stars to conceal their identities. However, when the demons they hunt, shape-shift into a dreamy boy band, musical chaos ensues! I actually met the creative team behind this project way back in 2022 at the World Animation Summit. We both had a desire to see something like the K/DA virtual band as a full animated film. KPop Demon Hunters wears its influences on its selves and acts as a love-letter to the KPop fandom. Overall, KPop Demon Hunters looks surprisingly and I can’t wait to check it out on Netflix June 20th.
