‘Marvel Contest Of Champions’ Receives Fantastic Update

Marvel Contest of Champions regularly coordinates updates with the release of MCU films. Last February, there were tie-ins with Captain America: Brave New World. With The Fantastic Four: First Steps set to release next month, the popular game will receive new content related to Marvel’s First Family.
Beginning Wednesday, June 4th, players can collect “Research Grant” collectibles in various game modes during the Fantastic Force Saga. They can then trade in all the collectibles in order to receive a 7-star Mr. Fantastic. Then, from June 11th to July 9th the Vaults of Variant side quest runs where users can aid Reed Richards during his research into the Multiverse. This is only the beginning of the Fantastic Four content as Marvel Contest of Champions has more exciting updates in July.
In addition, the game is celebrating Pride Month with its latest Champions. Runaways members Nico Minoru and Karolina Dean are the next entrants into the Contest. The former becomes available June 12 and the latter can be obtained starting June 26. Along with the two additions is the Runway Solo Event taking place during the entirety of June. As players win fights in any mode (excluding practice mode) they will earn points towards reward milestones and collect Pride profile pictures along the way.
Nico and Karolina aren’t the only new characters arriving. The brand-new original Eidol Solvarch can be collected. Known as the Wolf of the Stars, they can be obtained through the Fantastic Force Saga event starting June 5 running through October 8th.
Other features in the next Marvel Contest of Champions update include:
- Captain Britain (Rework): Captain Britain is a powerful force for good in The Battlerealm! Kabam has rebalanced and reworked Captain Britain with fresh cosmetics and mechanics. The character update will be released June 2, and will be available to obtain as a 7-Star Champion in the “Double Track Event” on June 4th.
- Ironheart Offers & 7-Day Login Calendar: The Contest is celebrating the upcoming release of Marvel Studios “Ironheart” with a 7-Day “Hall of Irons” Login Calendar lined up with daily rewards beginning June 10 through August 1st at 4 p.m. PT, and in-game offers on series premiere day, June 24.
- Heat Wave Sale on June 27th! With all the Fantastic adventures happening in The Contest this season, the Human Torch is heating things up. The best way to chill out is obviously with some cool fan-favorite sales
