‘Pokémon Pocket Trading Card Game’ Unleashes Ultra Beasts

I’ve been really enjoying the Pokémon Pocket Trading Card Game app for a few months now. Each time they have dropped a new set it has been a ton of fun to see what changes the new set of cards will bring to the game.
The newest themed boosters are titled Extradimensional Crisis and focus on the Ultra Beast Pokémon. For those not familiar with Ultra Beasts, they are a group of extradimensional Pokémon who were introduced in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. These Pokémon have gone through Ultra Space, an interdimensional realm filled with crystalline meteoroids that links to a number of different worlds and dimensions through differently colored Ultra Wormholes called warp holes.
Extradimensional Crisis, arriving on May 28th, 2025, at 11:00 p.m. PDT, is set to add over 100 new cards to the game, including Pokémon EX cards, Trainer cards, and some of the multidimensional Ultra Beasts themselves.
I opened a few packs this morning on the app and pulled a few Ultra Beasts as well as a shiny Frogadier that I was not expecting to see in this set.
