Marvel Comics Reveals More Explosive ‘Deadpool/Batman’ Covers
by Tony Thornley
Marvel Comics and DC Comics are returning to the days of the intercompany crossover in September’s Deadpool/Batman. The one-shot promises to be huge, and Marvel has revealed three new covers for their portion of the crossover event.
The massive crossover begins in September with Marvel’s Deadpool/Batman by Zeb Wells and Greg Capullo. Then in November, DC will release Batman/Deadpool from Grant Morrison and Dan Mora. The two stories kick off a return after decades away from the crossover game.
Marvel has revealed three of their variant covers for the one shot from Mark Bagley, Ryan Stegman and Skottie Young. Bagley’s cover is a special foil variant featuring both heroes facing the Joker. Stegman homages the famous Incredible Hulk #340 from Todd McFarlane. And Young creates one of his famous young Marvels style covers featuring one of DC’s heroes for the first time.
Check out all three covers, and watch for more news about Deadpool/Batman before its September debut.
