Superman Week – Heroes & Villains Tee’s Take Us Up, Up, And Away

It’s Superman week here at Comicon.com, and that means we are talking about all things Man of Tomorrow related as we delight in the release of the newest film based on the spit-curl sporting champion of good.
My pals at Heroes & Villains have a new merch drop inspired by James Gunn‘s new Superman film. This t-shirt collection pays tribute to the iconic hero and makes a perfect pairing with the upcoming film release.
First up is the Superman 2025 Movie Metropolis Skyline Tee. I normally avoid tie-in merch that has a logo on it where I can but between the retro-future Metropolis skyline logo and the text reading “Home of Superman” and “City of tomorrow” this comes off as more of a shirt you could pick up at a street side vendor in Metropolis than something a little more marketing heavy.
The Superman 2025 Movie Globe Symbol Tee is really nice, especially among distressed-looking movie-inspired tees. I dig that it feels vintage even though it’s brand new, leaning into the very retro-future vibes I always associate with Superman and Metropolis.
You can never really go wrong with an “S on your chest,” and as someone who had quite a few DC comic character logo shirts in my early adult life, this Superman 2025 Movie S-Shield Tee is the kind of thing I would have snagged immediately to add to my closet.
Rounding out the collection is the Superman 2025 Movie Superman Profile Tee. There are some really cool vintage print elements in this design, creating the shading on Superman and the barcode next to the planet logo harkens to both Krypton tech and the Daily Planet staff badge. All in all, a delightful addition to the collection and a solid shirt to capture the excitement of this new movie release. (Editor Note: I really dig the texture on the screen printing in particular.)
Until next time, I’ve always really liked Heroes & Villains. I have been lucky enough to have had multiple interactions with them, and they even dressed me for a convention appearance I had a few years back, and everything from the marketing team to the designer to the ownership has been nothing short of dialed in and delightful. When they drop new lines, I always check them out because in the landscape of easy-to-print and toss-on-shelves clothing that constantly assaults us from store racks and social media, Heroes & Villains seems to somehow bring quality and fun to everything they do.
