SDCC 2025: The Nacelle Company Offers Exclusive ‘Biker Mice From Mars’ Figures

The Biker Mice from Mars exploded onto the small screen in 1993 to the absolute delight of a childhood me. This show featured Martian anthropomorphic mice riding space motorcycles. These radical rodents ended up in Chicago, where they clashed with an alien pretending to be a shifty businessman, with the goal of stripping Earth of its resources and sending them back to his own planet.

What I loved about it, aside from the absolutely unhinged concept, is that the three main characters were disabled and no one made a big deal about it, and they all had really rad accommodating devices to aid them. As a disabled kid with almost no representation, this was a huge deal for me.

Throttle, the tan mouse in the middle down below, lost his sight in an accident. He uses those green-lensed sunglasses to aid him in perception and sensory situations that involve sight. Modo, probably my favorite of the three if I had to pick a favorite, lost his arm and eye in the same accident that took Throttle’s sight. Modo has a protective robot arm. Vinnie, the white mouse, has a dermal skin patch that covers an extreme burn he got during the same incident that altered the other two Biker Mice.

The show, to my memory, never made their disabilities weird or token-esque like you would see in most “very special episodes” that disabled people were allowed to hold space in. I think that alone, coupled with the aforementioned unhinged nonsense that this show was based around, made it an easy favorite of mine as a kid because, and I can’t ever stress this enough, representation when it is done correctly is super important and I know first hand how disappointing it is to never see disabled people shown in media as anything other than inspiration porn or wise teachers who give the main character a lesson and then vanish to never be seen again.

The Nacelle Company has announced that two San Diego Comic-Con 2025 exclusive figure sets based on the Biker Mice From Mars animated series will be available for purchase at Booth #2547 by those attending San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

Nacelle has been doing a really good job of building this connected universe of 80s and 90s toys and shows, and it feels like they are building towards something big that is just over the horizon.

The Biker Mice from Mars 3-Pack – SDCC Exclusive features fully articulated versions of Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie, marking the first time in franchise history that the trio is offered together in one package, and it also represents the first-ever SDCC exclusive for Biker Mice From Mars. The set includes a collector’s box featuring the official SDCC Exclusive 2025 logo, which will be available exclusively for this release and is limited to 500 units, making it a centerpiece-worthy release for any fan or collector.

There will also be a Throttle Bootleg Edition – SDCC Exclusive. This amusing Bootleg Edition is a nod to the underground toy scene of the early ’90s and features Throttle, dressed in a hot dog costume and wearing a FansCon badge. Each figure is an unarticulated, hand-painted art toy-style collectible bootleg, designed and individually painted by acclaimed bootleg toy artist Marquee Marauders Club. Packaged in a limited edition of only 100 units with SDCC Exclusive 2025 logos attached. With such a low number count, this is easily going to land in the “must have” category for toy collectors and Biker Mice From Mars fans.

Recently unveiling a first look at WonderCon 2025, the reboot is being executive produced by Ryan Reynolds, Brian Volk-Weiss, and George Dewey. I’m pretty stoked to see how this all plays out.
