Bloober Team Unveils Thirty-Five Minutes Of Gameplay For ‘Cronos: The New Dawn’
by Sage Ashford
Part of their recent PR push for the game, Bloober Team has put out a 35 minute gameplay video for Cronos: The New Dawn. This new preview focuses on the beginning of the game, allowing players to understand more of this ravaged, futuristic world. It’s not a surprise, as there was just an event recently where gaming outlets were allowed to try the game.
That said, this also comes hot on the heels of the ten minute Sector A-0 gameplay that was released just a couple days ago:
Their Steam page includes a brief overview:
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.
Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.
Considering this game is still scheduled for a release in 2025, it’s seeming likely that a release date for the title is coming soon. Perhaps during next month’s Gamescom?
Cronos: The New Dawn is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Epic Games Store, and Steam.
