A Frightening New ‘Hulk’ Era Is About To Be Unleashed

Marvel’s Incredible Hulk has had a fascinating trajectory in the last decade. That’s about to continue very soon.
After decades of being monster adjacent, Immortal Hulk fully embraced the horror that’s danced at the edge of the Hulk’s life since his creation with body horror, cosmic monsters and some of the scariest moments put into a mainstream comic. Then the current volume of Incredible Hulk jumped into that with both feet, creating a horror story that’s equal parts southern Gothic and cosmic horror.
In December, it appears that it’s about to change again thanks to a new Marvel teaser, as Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Nic Klein’s Hulk epic transforms into something new.
