EXCLUSIVE: Meet The Cast Of ‘Outer Lands’, The New Sci-Fi Graphic Novel From ComiXology

Television and film writer Matt Arnold returns to Comixology Originals with the new sci-fi original graphic novel, Outer Lands, described as “an action-packed, twisting tale with big surprises which, at its heart, is really about the dangers of technology and our longing for the nostalgic past,” by writer Matt Arnold, who is complimented by artist Davide Gianfelice and Jock on covers. And it that wasn’t enough, here’s the full synopsis for this graphic novel from ComiXology (digitally) and Dark Horse (print) as well as a lowdown on the cast o0f characters you’ll meet:

Now for a nit more on the central characters of Outer Lands:

Heron is heir to the throne of Titania. A dreamer, fascinated by the legends surrounding Atlantis and a student of their culture, he is a man who follows his convictions at any cost. We also discover quickly that he is not pampered royalty. His resilience and strength become evident when he is wrongfully exiled to the prison island to eke out the rest of his days doing hard labor. Whatever the situation, no matter the pressure, Heron will find a way to achieve what he desires — in this case…regaining his stolen crown.

Isadora is Heron’s sister, and by her brother’s own admission, the more practical of the pair. Clearly more beloved by her father for her faithfulness to his cause, she is also harboring dark secrets about a hidden affair with a member of the palace guard and the devious plan the two have concocted. With a heavy heart, she will fulfill her father’s wishes, even at great cost to her brother and even herself.

Kallas is the captain of the palace guard and Isadora’s secret lover. Fearless in battle and a brilliant warrior, he attempts to teach both the royal children the art of warfare. But when the island kingdom is threatened, and despite his treasonous actions against the prince, he fights with ultimate courage to protect Titania and the way of life of its people.
