Marvel Heroes Fight The Winter Blues In December’s ‘Marvel Winter Break Special’

This summer, Marvel Comics revived their popular Marvel Swimsuit Special, in an unexpected hit. In December, Marvel Winter Break Special will hit shelves in a spiritual sequel.
Reuniting the creative team of this summer’s special — Tim Seeley, Tony Fleecs, and Nick Bradshaw — for the framing story, this special finds the heroes of the Marvel Universe reuniting. This time though, instead of just showing off hot beachwear, our favorite heroes, including Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Avengers, will also show off alluring cold weather gear. In between pages of the story, some of comics hottest artists like Kaare Andrews, Annie Wu, and more will create those sizzling pin-ups.
The Swimsuit Special had a great mix of humor and satire. While it was a very fun take on the Marvel Universe, we got to see the Wasp take center stage to rally the universe in a qay that we don’t see often. It also lampooned AI art and capitalism. It’ll be fun to see what the creative team does this time.
