Funko POP! And The MPTF Auction Autographed 1-of-1 Collectibles For Charity

by Anton Kromoff

Welcome to the table,

Recently Funko POP!’s POP! Yourself experience added a wheelchair option to their customization. I have to admit that really made me smile. Now they have announced a new one-of-a-kind experience that stands the chance of making fans of quite a few shows very, very happy.

Funko POP! is teaming up with the Motion Picture & Television Fund to launch an auction via Charitybuzz. They are offering a collection of collectables signed by John Cena, Anthony Mackie, Peter Dinklage, Elijah Wood, Michael C. Hall, Krysten Ritter, Alison Brie, Dave Franco, the Lawrence Brothers, and more.

Funko POP! and MPTF partnered with Entertainment Weekly at San Diego Comic-Con, where the team created personalized Funko POP! of themselves. This is a good time to mention that the POP!s were of the actors themselves, not the characters they played, but it’s still super cool because this is a really unique pop-culture thing I have not really seen up to this point.

During the three-day activation, the attending talent signed their custom POP! figures to benefit the MPTF. All money raised for the custom, one-of-a-kind collectibles is said to be going to support members of the entertainment community with a safety net of health and social services, offering temporary financial assistance and case management where needed.

You can check out this rare collection of collectables at the link. All autographed collections start with an opening bid of $300.

Until next time, this benefits a cool cause, and it’s a rad way to get yourself something unique. For sure, I think this is worthy of checking out.
