‘Transformers’ #25 By Robert Kirkman And Dan Mora Sells Out With A Second Printing Imminent
by Olly MacNamee
Skybound, Image Comics, and toy company Hasbro, have sent Transformers #25 back to the printers for a second printing. Heralding in a new era for the Energon Universe by the new creative team of writer Robert Kirkman, and artist Dan Mora with colourist Mike Spicer, and letterer Rus Wooton, it’s no surprise this milestoine issue sold out and now heading for a second printing. A second printing features four all-new covers by Jason Howard, spotlighting fan favourites Mirage, Bulkhead, Bonecrusher, and Miles Mayhem.

“The Energon Universe will never be the same as the Autobots and Decepticons begin the most surprising new chapter in their war on Earth.
Optimus Prime and the remaining Autobots must join forces with unlikely allies in order to protect their adopted planet. But Prime’s next challenge lies closer to home than he ever imagined. And what is the fate of the Decepticons?”
Kirkman, no stranger to sell out success, had this to say:
“I’m blown away by how Optimus Primed the audience was for this issue! I did a pun in a press release! Look at me! I never expected our orders to more than double for our 25th issue and to then have to go into multiple printings to meet demand, I’m Decepticonfounded over the whole thing!”
Executive Editor Ben Abernathy added:
“To the surprise of no one, this ground-breaking issue is returning with a new printing thanks to the fans! But this issue is just the tip of the iceberg in what — and who — is to come!”
