‘Virgin Punk: A Clockwork Girl’ Coming To US Theaters

Umezu Yasuomi is the creator of the infamous X-rated OVAs Kite (1998) and Mezzo Forte (2000). Each depict over-the-top sex and hyper-violence while also delivering compelling thrillers in a unique world. Now, Yasuomi is teaming up with Studio Shaft (Magical Girl Madoka) to create an original series: Virgin Punk: A Clockwork Girl.
The series takes place in the future where Android Technology is wildly used for medical purposes. However, there are those who misuse the Medical Android Technology to enhance human abilities. The story follows Ubu Kamigori, who works as bounty hunter tasked with hunting down android criminals.Virgin Punk appears to be a spiritual successor to Kite and Mezzo Forte because it follows another familiar-looking teenage girl who works as a bounty hunter in a vibrant and deadly world.
Virgin Punk: A Clockwork Girl will release in US theaters November 11th.
