Celebrate The Launch Of ‘Marvel Cosmic Invasion’ With New Variant Covers

It seems like every major IP is getting in the game of throwback beat-em-up style action games. Marvel Comics’ take on it — Marvel Cosmic Invasion — is debuting and bringing a new series of variant covers with it.
Produced by Dotemu and Tribute Games in collaboration with Marvel Games, Marvel Cosmic Invasion allows players to control one of 15 Marvel heroes. Those heroes will fight the rising tide of the Annihilation Wave, among many other cosmic threats.
From the game’s official description: After an unprecedented attack is launched across the galaxy, all life hangs in the balance. Marvel’s most legendary heroes, both earth-born and cosmic, will join forces in a star-spanning brawling adventure against the deadly Annihilation Wave. From New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone, the future of the Universe will be fought for across the stars in Marvel Cosmic Invasion!
In January and February, Marvel Comics will debut twelve new variant covers to spotlight the game. The covers feature the throwback designs of the game’s heroes, in an appropriately retro art style.
