‘2XKO’ Comes To PlayStation 5 And Xbox Series In January

by Tito W. James

Just a few months after entering Early Access, Riot Games’ 2v2 fighting game, 2XKO, is gearing up for its console release. The League of Legends-based fighting game will hit Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 this January, allowing players on those platforms to finally get in on the fun.

Yet, Riot Games also announced how they plan on working with the competitive scene. Rather than developing their own tournaments, they’ve chosen to work with twenty tournament operators to create their 2026 Competitive Series. This will result in five major and fifteen challenger events meant to align with the five seasons planned for 2026. The first major competition starts in January at Frosty Faustings, with a series of challenger events following in February and March.

With 2026 looking like a major year for fighting games, 2XKO looks to be getting out ahead of everyone else.
