The Game Awards — Action-Packed ‘LEGO Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight’ Trailer And Release Date

by Gary Catig

Last summer, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was announced. An official release date along with a trailer was revealed during The Game Awards Thursday night. Lego Batman himself appeared live from the Batcave at the awards show to announce the news.

LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight - Arkham Asylum

So much was shown in the action packed trailer. Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl join our hero to help save Gotham City. Each character has their own unique abilities, progression trees, combos, and signature gadgets.

Getting in their way is a who’s who of Batman’s rogue gallery: Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Firefly, Mr. Freeze, The Joker, The Penguin, Ra’s al Ghul, and Bane. If you take an even closer look, you can see Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series and Batpod from The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises films, which can be used to traverse the in-game open world.
