For Star Wars comics released the week of December 17th, there’s just one, as the line continues to contract and the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Star Wars: The Force Awakens comes to a close.

The truth about Qui-Gon’s encounter on Sinsara is revealed as the confrontation with Corlis Rath comes to a close.
- Qui-Gon says that he and Corlis Rath were just children when they first thought which is funny because, once again, Musabekov draws Padawan Qui-Gon like he’s a forty year old man.
- Obi-Wan does that battle stance thing where he raises his lightsaber above his head with his rear hand and points two fingers at his opponent with this front hand.
- The fact that, in the end, a pre-Sith Lord Dooku is the one who the made the Sinsara situation worse due to the kinds of inclinations that would lead him to leave the Order is a nice touch, and is pleasantly understated.
- This is the final issue of the series, as Marvel continues to quietly shutter this latest batch of titles in anticipation (presumably) of a new wave coming later in 2026.
A pretty solid conclusion to the book’s one big ongoing arc, one which strikes the balance between just letting Qui-Gon off the hook and making him having done something too bad in his past. All in all, this book stands as a surprisingly strong anthology series given consistency by Musabekov’s art even as they do some fun experimentation (like the all-splash pages Kaiju issue). It’s a shame it’s come to a close, as it seems like a book featuring a rotating cast of Jedi supported by strong art is a no-brainer concept and something the line should always be doing.
