‘Marvel Contest of Champions’ Rings In The New Year With New Update

The new year brings a new update to Marvel Contest of Champions. There is plenty of new content for players to enjoy, from new characters to a new saga to so much more. The game is also beginning another Summoner’s Choice Vote as well.
As mentioned last month, J. Jonah Jameson as the Spider-Slayer would be on his way. He is now available to collect. Joining the editor-in-chief at The Daily Bugle as a new champion is a different version of the master of the mystical arts. A new and improved Doctor Strange can be obtained beginning January 29th.
The 6th Summoner’s Choice Vote has also begun. This year’s candidates feature alternate versions of fan favorite characters. They include Stormphoenix (Ororo Monroe), Fantasia (Isabella Alvarez), Nebula Nova Prime, Pork Grind, Daredevil Drummer of Philly (Mattea Murdock), Spider Ma’am (Maybelle Parker), Iron Fist (Orson Randall), and Colossus (Age of Apocalypse).
Voting can be done in a few ways. First, complete Champion’s Choice Solo Objectives to earn votes towards any of the Champions in the first round of voting. To receive more votes, head over to the Marvel Contest of Champions Webstore daily for a bonus 5 votes that can be used on any Champion of choice. The winner will be declared on January 30th.
The Tooth and Claw saga runs from now until April 8th, which revolves around animalistic Champions. The event is a good time for new players to collect characters they missed out on. On the first day, you can receive Spider-Man (Stark Enhanced), Beast, Tigra, Squirrel Girl, Sabertooth, Rhino, Rocket Raccoon, Howard the Duck, Wolverine, and Hit-Monkey all at three-stars. A seven-star Toad serves as the bonus saga chase champion, and can be obtained by completing objectives to receive milestone prizes.
The 14 day supply drop during the Tooth and Claw saga include:
