‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Returns To LEGO In April

After over a decade, one of entertainment’s most iconic franchise, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, are returning in brick form from LEGO, and we have the details.
Debuting April 1st, the Ninja Turtles join the collectible BrickHeadz line. The building set will be a four-pack of the roughly 3-inch figurines, including all four Turtles, their iconic weapons, and even some pizza thrown in for good measure.
LEGO previously held the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles license from 2012 to roughly late 2014/early 2015. In that time, they released building sets based on the 2012 CG animated series and the 2014 live action film. There hasn’t been any TMNT themed construction sets since competitor Mega Construx (AKA MegaBlox), lost the license in 2016.
This announcement comes on the heels of the announcement of longtime action figure licensor Playmates losing the TMNT license at the end of 2026. It appears that franchise owner Paramount is beginning to make moves to continue to have the Ninja Turtles on toy shelves. While the announcement did not mention any sets beyond the BrickHeadz collectible, given LEGO’s history with the franchise, new playsets seem to be a foregone conclusion.
