Hasbro Reveals Marvel Legends Maximum Thor And More

Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line has some excellent sub-lines within the larger range. This morning, the company revealed some of the newest releases, including an exciting addition to their Maximum sub-line and a new wave of Secret Wars.
In a new video, Hasbro’s Marvel Legends team revealed several new figures and two-packs coming over the next few months. Pretty much all of these figures were exciting reveals for fans, but the biggest one was the next entry in the ultra-premium Maximum line — The Mighty Thor!
The Maximum line was announced as a premium line, full of accessories, premium articulation and more. So far the line has also served as an artist focus line, with the Spider-Man release being heavily based on the work of Todd McFarlane, and the Hulk figure incorporating the work of Dale Keown, Mike Deodato, and Ed McGuinness. This Thor figure is based on his design from the 2007 volume by J. Michael Straczynski with art and design by Olivier Coipel.
In addition to Maximum Thor, the Hasbro team announced:

- X-Men ‘97 Archangel
- Avengers: The Crossing Black Widow and Quicksilver two-pack
- Daredevil villain Muse and Bullseye two-pack
- Secret Wars Retro card Magik
- Secret Wars Retro card Spider-Man (with symbiote)
- Secret Wars Retro card Daredevil
- Secret Wars Retro card Falcon
- Secret Wars Retro card Constrictor
- Secret Wars Retro card Absorbing Man
The figures will be available for pre-order at Amazon and fan channel retailers like Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth throughout February and March, and will start to hit stores later in the spring.
