DC Comics Reveals A Second Wave Of Variant Covers For ‘Superman/Spider-Man’ #1
by Olly MacNamee
With the 50th Anniversary special — the all-new Superman/The Amazing Spider-Man — only a month away from release, DC revealed today a second wave of variant covers for Superman/Spider-Man #1. This follows on from previously revealed first wave covers from Marvel, announcing their own The Amazing Spider-Man/Superman, as well as a second wave, as reported by Tony Thornley.

“When journalists Clark Kent and Peter Parker find themselves chasing the same story, the conspiracy they uncover could change the world — especially if Brainiac and Doctor Octopus have anything to say about it. (And we bet they do!) Good thing our intrepid newshounds are secretly Superman and the Amazing Spider-Man. To bring this clash of reporters‑turned‑heroes to life, Mark Waid and Jorge Jiménez join forces to headline DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 with an unforgettable lead story.”
These newly revealed covers are illustrated by Mitch Gerads; Rafa Sandoval and Ulises Arreola; J. Scott Campbell; Adam Hughes; Steve Lieber and Nathan Fairbairn; Evan “Doc” Shaner; Jeff Spokes; Chrissie Zullo-Uminga; Scott Koblish and Hi-Fi; and Jorge Jiménez and Tomeu Morey.
DC Comics’ Superman/Spider-Man #1 is out on the 25th of March 25, 2026, with Marvel’s Spider-Man/Superman #1 due in April.
