‘2000 AD’ Goes Weekly In The USA Thanks To Rebellion And Lunar Distribution

Every week, Richard Bruton gives us a deep dive into 2000 AD with his Weekly 2000 AD column. And each week, he reminds American readers they’ll have to wait … and when the Galaxy’s Greatest Comics do arrive, fans buy them in bulk as a four-pack. But not any longer. Now, thanks to a partnership between publishers Rebellion and Lunar Distribution, 2000 AD will arrive in US comic book stores every week — and just two weeks after the UK on-sale date! All starting this May, as announced at this year’s ComicsPro event, and minus the polybags, which must be better for the environment, right?
This also means The Judge Dredd Megazine and seasonal specials, including Action and The 2000 AD Sci-Fi Special, will all now be available to order directly through Lunar too.
Furthermore, this year will also see Judge Dredd feature in a new ‘Mega-Epic’ crossover between the weekly 2000 AD and the monthly Megazine.
Retailers looking to order the weekly 2000 AD will be able to find it in March’s edition of “Next Phase”, available via Lunar, and on the Lunar website.
