Raremarq Expands Offering Beyond Comic Slabs To Include All CGC-Graded Collectibles

by Tom Smithyman

Online auction site Raremarq continues to expand its line of services by enabling users to import all of their CGC-graded collectibles, including cards, video games, and home videos. The move, announced today, builds on Raremarq’s earlier plans to integrate graded comic books into its platform.

Today’s announcement, which is meant to expand Raremarq’s presence within the broad collectibles marketplace, is designed to make it easier for collectors to sell their goods instead of just showing them off.

“When our community saw that our auction technology was helping sellers earn up to 10x more than traditional platforms, they immediately asked for a way to bring their entire collections over to Raremarq,” said Christopher Tung, Raremarq’s co-founder and CEO. “We built this integration so that importing any CGC-graded collectible takes just seconds. Whether a collector wants to simply display their slabs or is ready to run an auction and entertain offers, they are instantly plugged into a proven marketplace with tens of thousands of active buyers.”

With this new service, Raremarq is combining grading, profiling, showcasing, as well as buying and selling collectibles into a one-stop shop for collectors. Users can instantly add to their CGC-graded collections, move items to a live auction or mark them for sale, as well as entertain offers. All purchases are protected through an escrow service.

“When I stumbled across Raremarq, I was amazed,” said collector Dalton Roe, who is also a noted social media influencer. “I just enter the CGC label selling, and the tool immediately imports everything from CGC. I’m doing almost no work, and instantly I’m getting views and bidders. Even with my own following, Raremarq has a much better reach into the collecting industry than I ever could on my own.”
