Frank Miller Provides Covers For IDW’s ‘Teenage Mutant Minja Turtles’ #300

Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird‘s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles celebrate their heroes in a half-shell’s 300th issue this July. A comic book heavily inspired by Frank Miller‘s legendary run on Marvel’s Daredevil comic book. And now, for the first time ever, Miller draws the characters, who have his DNA running through their green veins, for this anniversary issue.


This special issue also kicks off the next epic storyline, ‘The City That Never Dies’, by Eisner Award-winning writer Gene Luen Yang and artist Freddie E. Williams II, with a back-up story by writer Tom Waltz and a roster of classic TMNT artists, in a tale that “celebrates the many eras of the Heroes in a Half-Shell as the time-traveler Renet explores timelines full of familiar faces”.
“Splinter and Tang Shen, the mother of the Turtles, have magically come back to life … but they aren’t the only ones who returned from the land of the dead!”
TMNT #300 is out on Wednesday the 22nd of July 22 features covers by Eastman & Laird, Miller, Williams II, J. Scott Campbell, Michael Dooney, Ito, Juan Ferreyra, Stan Sakai, Giuseppe Camuncoli, and Mateus Santolouco.
