Take A First Look Inside ‘Spider-Man/Superman’

March’s Superman/Spider-Man was a colossal success. Now later this month Spider-Man/Superman hits stands, and Marvel Comics has released a look inside their chapter of this monumental team-up.

Spider-Man/Superman will re-team Marvel and DC Comics’ flagship heroes, reuniting the duo 50 years after their first team-up. Last month’s special saw them fighting Doctor Octopus and Brainiac. The follow-up, out April 22nd, will see the Web Slinger and Man of Steel facing Lex Luthor and the Green Goblin, in a lead story by Brad Meltzer, Pepe Larraz and Marte Gracia.

This special will also be chock-full of back-up stories, featuring team-ups from the Superman family and the Web Warriors. Marvel has revealed a first look at all eight of those stories including:
- In the shadow-filled 1930s, Spider Noir encounters the original Golden Age Man of Steel as told by Dan Slott and Marcos Martin
- Superstar Geoff Johns returns to Marvel in the first time in over 20 years, teaming up with frequent collaborator and fellow legend Gary Frank as crisis ensues bringing the House of Webs against each together at the summons of Mysterio…but is their true foe an ally out of control?!
- Symbiote hordes invade Metropolis in a new War of the Realms in Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman’s epic reunion starring Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor, Wonder Woman and more
- Co-creator of Steel and Marvel icon Louise Simonson teams with artist Todd Nauck to hammer out the tale of John Henry Irons’ clash with the nefarious Hobgoblin
- Current Amazing Spider-Man scribe Joe Kelly and Spidey legend Humberto Ramos deliver a campus crossover between our heroes’ first loves Lana Lang and Gwen Stacy
- The other Spider-Man, Miles Morales, teams with Superman in a tale by Miles’ legendary co-creators, Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli
- Spider-Gwen and Supergirl form a mighty bond in a high-stakes adventure by current All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider scribe Stephanie Phillips and superstar artist Phil Noto
- Jeph Loeb and Jim Cheung reunite to put their own spin on a Spider-Man/Superman team-up
