First Look At Conan Crossover, ‘Conan And Dragonero’ #1, From Titan Comics

Titan Comics has shared a first look at the first issue of its latest Conan the Barbarian spinoff miniseries, Conan And Dragonero #1. We get a synopsis and a sneak peek at covers and interiors for a comic book that presents the first meeting of Conan and Dragonera, the latter being a popular fantasy character co-created by Italina creators Luca Enoch and Stefano Vietti in 2007, who are joined on this series by artist Lorenzo Nuti.

“Conan of Cimmeria and Dragonero meet for the first time in an epic clash of steel, sorcery, and survival.

Pulled to the mysterious land of Erondár by dark forces, Conan comes face to face with the famed dragon slayer, Dragonero, and the two warriors must set aside suspicion to stand back-to-back against a supernatural force poised to doom both their worlds.

This landmark crossover brings together two legendary heroes in a story that honors classic sword-and-sorcery while forging something bold and unforgettable.”

Dargonero is the identity adopted by Ian Aranill, and is named after the dark colour of the blade of his magical sword. Like his ancestors, Ian is a dragonslayer, usually hired by The Empire to take on quests in far-off lands. As well as his magical sword, he also possesses powers, but only after drinking the blood of a black dragon. Kinda like Popeye and his spinach.
