‘Regicide’: New Sensual Vampire Horror Announced By Image Comics

“Dracula meets Berserk” is how Image Comics is selling Regicide, the new ongoing series from Image Comics, writer Patrick Kindlon (Tigress Island, Gehenna: Naked Aggression) and artist Ludovic Lalliat (Akutezoïde). But with added “sexy entities”. Here’s the full synopsis and some of the cover reveals, minus the NSFW cover:
“In Regicide, a farmhand lives a simple life until village elders insist he set out for the capital with a dangerous stranger. Their mission? Kill the murderous viceroy of Transylvania!
Dracula meets Berserk in this story filled to the brim with sexy entities and betrayal.”
Dracula and vampires have always had an erotic element to them, often played up by adaptors of the novel and vampire lore, so this seems to be a series in keeping with that tradition. Here’s Kindlon with more on the sexual horror they’re trying to establish and explore:
