‘LEGO Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight’ Sets Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight recently released on most gaming platforms, but missing in the initial launch was a version for the Nintendo Switch 2. The wait for the game on that console isn’t too much longer with Warner Bros. Games announcing the title will be available world wide for the Switch 2 on September 18th, 2026. Pre-orders are now available for both the standard version ($69.99) and the deluxe edition ($89.99).
In addition, the highly anticipated “Mayhem Collection” downloadable content (DLC) will release the same day for Switch 2, PlayStation5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC (Steam & Epic Game Store) Deluxe Edition owners. The DLC features the new Mayhem Mode with The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters.
Other features of the Switch 2 Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Deluxe Edition at launch include:
- Free LEGO Retro Video Game Batman Minifigure (*available with physical edition only & while supplies last)
- Access to the Legacy Collection DLC, incl. new suits, vehicles, and Batcave items inspired by the Batman: Arkham videogame series, Batman Beyond television series, and a party music themed pack
- Access to the “Mayhem Collection” DLC, including the new Mayhem Mode with The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, a new story mission, and the Sinister Pack, consisting of seven (7) new suits (one [1] for each of the main game playable characters), five (5) new Batcave items, and a new Batmobile to traverse the open world
All pre-orders of either the standard and deluxe version of the game on Switch 2 include The Dark Knight Returns in-game Batsuit, inspired by the acclaimed comic book series, available at launch.
Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam & Epic Game Store). It will release for Switch 2 on September 18th, 2026.
