Saladin Ahmed Comes To Dynamite With ‘ThunderCats: Cheetara’ #1

The first glimpse of Dynamite’s post-ThunderCats X SilverHawks has been revealed.

The company announced Thursday that Black Bolt writer Saladin Ahmed will make his Dynamite debut on ThunderCats: Cheetara #1 — the first of a new wave of ThunderCats series set to arrive after the conclusion of the current crossover with SilverHawks. Joining him for the adventure is artist Andrea Arcari.

As the new series begins, Cheetara’s enhanced hearing leads to something altogether different: “bold, relentless voices that contradict the Book of Omens and praise the Mu’Tants.” Can she outrun these dangerous new visions or will it force her onto a “journey of discovery and danger.”

Supporting the issue are covers from Ancari, Mark Spears, John Amor, Karen S. Darboe, and Will Robson with an additional cover featuring art from the animated series. Additionally, mystery blind bags will be available containing “three limited editions of the issue selected randomly from a range of variant covers exclusive to this offering.”

ThunderCats: Cheetara #1 arrives September 9th.
