September’s ‘Witchblade X Vampirella’ Special Sees The Two Characters Collide

It was only a matter of time before Det. Sara Pezzini met Vampi again.
As announced by Dynamite Thursday morning, Witchblade X Vampirella sees the characters cross over for the first time in decades. Orchestrating their latest encounter: writer Erica Schultz and artist Valentina Pinti. Their tale begins when an ancient curse is unleashed on New York City. Sara — aka the Witchblade — is on the case, but she is also infected. Thus, it’s time for Vampirella to enter the fray. She knows how to deal with ancient evil, but will she be ready to confront Witchblade at full power and under the influence of the curse?
Supporting the special one-shot are covers from Lucio Parrillo, Francesco Mattina, Carla Cohen, Joseph Michael Linsner, John Royle, and Stjepan Sejic. Blind bags with exclusive variants will also be available.
