Arrow’s New Sub-Label Toy Robot Video Brings ‘Guyver 2’, Sonny Chiba, and Indie Horror To Blu-ray

Good news for physical media fans: Those movie maniacs at Arrow Video have launched a new sub-label called Toy Robot Video, which promises new releases at a lower price point. Their debut slate of Blu-ray releases include some obscure genre pics, ninjas, superheroes, and a double-dose of the great Sonny Chiba.
First up is Guyver: Dark Hero, making its UK Blu-ray debut in a 2-disc set available September 7th. The 1994 superhero sequel pits the titular hero (David Hayter) against evil mutants known as the Zoanoids. It includes both the theatrical version and an enhanced version with added special effects.
Also dropping on Blu-ray the same day is Roaring Fire, available for the very first time in its fully uncut version. Japanese stars Hiroyuki Sanada (Shogun) and Sonny Chiba (Shogun’s Samurai) team up for this ’80s martial arts action comedy.
Things get a bit sticky with the September 14th Blu-ray release of the 2025 indie horror film Marshmallow. While at summer camp, a 12-year-old boy discovers that a spooky campfire tale about a homicidal doctor (Corbin Bernsen) is actually real.
Last stop: Ninja Wars. Sanada and Chiba are back at it again in this 1982 film blending martial arts, horror, and fantasy in feudal Japan. Sanada plays a ninja who becomes embroiled in an endless war between two deadly clans with supernatural abilities. It makes its Blu-ray debut on September 28th.
