Sword Panda Limited And 4Divinity Reveal Gameplay For ‘Sword Sage: Awakening’

The action RPG genre might be one of the most packed in all of gaming. And it isn’t going to get any less crowded with developer Sword Panda Limited and 4Divinity showing off gameplay from their new game, Sword Sage: Awakening.

The title takes players into the world of Jiannandao, a realm blending Chinese folklore, ancient disasters, and science fiction. There, players take on the role of San Niang, who travels the country and battles against the powerful disasters and monsters created by the Supreme White Gibbon Sage.

Feeling like a mix of character action games and Soulslikes, Sword Sage: Awakening certainly looks interesting in the three-minute trailer presented above. It has no release date, but it’s currently scheduled to release on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
