Trailer Watch: South American Cyberpunk Animation ‘Electro Andes’

Based in Buenos Aires Argentina, Bellolandia Studio creates hand drawn animation deeply rooted in South American culture — from the design of its characters to its story content. The studio is heavily influenced by anime and western cartoons to create action adventures for young adults.
Electro Andes seeks to bring an ethnic flavor to the “cyberpunk” genre. The first episode will be directed by Nacho Malter and Damian Fernandez Gomez, and the project will be showcased at this year’s Annecy Animation Festival. Ancient Andean culture will collide with cutting-edge sci-fi.
