Sevy & Porter Launch Kickstarter For NSFW Erotic Fantasy ‘She Comes With Magic’

Fantasy comes with all kinds of subgenres, including the increasingly popular (and adult) romantasy. This week, Phillip Sevy and Christie Porter launched a crowdfunding campaign for their very … grown up new take on fantasy.
She Comes With Magic hit Kickstarter yesterday morning (and is already fully funded!), initiating a new passion project (in more ways than one) from Sevy (X-Men, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers) and Porter (Headless Horseman). The duo have teamed to bring the very adult fantasy adventure to life with colors by color artist Gibran Ferdian.

Welcome to Verautis, a conquered realm, ruled by the Starving King. The powerful arcanists who once protected the realm have retreated to the source of all magic, the Dawn Tree, to protect magic itself. In the void left behind, we meet Maeve, a powerful wizard with a unique way to channel her magic.
From the Kickstarter’s press release:
As a survivor of Syphon’s massacre of the preeminent school for arcane arts, Maeve is driven by a burning need for justice and a desire to see hope restored. She’s travelling the land, trying to survive and looking for a way forward.
She finds hope in the form of an Oracle in an unexpected place: a brothel … soon beset by Syphon’s minions. The Oracle’s message to Maeve changes everything. The only hope Vauratis has is her. Thrust into the position of prophesied savior, she begins her quest to save the world.
In a twist of fate, Maeve’s unique way of channeling magic might just give her the edge she needs to best the Starving King.
But first, she’ll have to channel a lot of magic.
The story is perfect for fans of fantasy, tabletop gaming, Dungeons & Dragons and, of course, smut. The team’s goal is to produce four issues and a collection per year, starting with this debut issue.
