SDCC 2026: Dynamic Forces Exclusive ‘Absolute Batman’ #23 Cover Unveiled As Original Art Sells

Over the weekend, Dynamic Forces revealed a second exclusive cover for Absolute Batman. Previously, the company made available a special cover by Jae Lee for issue #21, which sold quite well and saw the original art go for a whopping $22,500. This time, Lee provides his talents once again for a special cover to issue #23 (above) which features both Batman and Clayface. And, as it happens, Lee’s original art for the cover sold almost immediately at a $10,000 asking price.
Luckily, copies of the Absolute Batman#23 Dynamic Forces variant cover can be purchased for a considerably smaller amount.
Inside, per DC Comics, Batman faces a climactic showdown against the Robins and, somehow, himself. Additionally, “more than one dead character signals a call for help … and a symbol of hopelessness as more friends become enemies.” The Dynamic Forces variant also comes with the full trade dress or virgin options and the company’s website offers signed copies, foil variants and more.
