SDCC 2026: Dynamite Announces ‘Vampirella Archives’ Vol. 8 Plans

The Vampirella Archives continues on to vol. 8.
Just ahead of Comic-Con International: San Diego, Dynamite announced on Tuesday the next installment of its classic Vampirella reprint program. The next volume reprints issues #50-56 of the original Warren Publishing series. It represents stories released from Spring to the Winter of 1976.
Issue #50 opens the collection with a “40-page epic encompassing Vampirella, Pantha, Fleur and even a special cameo by an icon of comics.” Gerry Boudreau takes the lead as writer of the Vampi stores in the six issues, but other contributors throughout Vol. 8 includes Howard Chaykin, Bruce Jones, Richard Corben, Roger McKenzie, Rafael Auraleon, Leopold Sanchez, Jan Strnad, Jose Ortiz, and more.
The softcover Archives collections continue to make the early Vampi issues available at a consumer-friendly price point on a bimonthly schedule. Vol. 9 will continue that new tradition later in the year.
Vampirella Archives Vol.8 arrives this October.
