We love toys ’round these parts, which means we’re also big fans of Netflix documentary series The Toys That Made Us. Which also means the new Kickstarter from The Nacelle Company and Oni Press – The Art of the Toys That Made Us – is right up our alley, too.
This deluxe Kickstarter-first two volume hardcover book set draws on the The Toys That Made Us archives to chronicle the artwork, stories and behind the scenes details of everything from G.I. Joe to Transformers to Barbie to Hot Wheels to Masters of the Universe to Polly Pocket and Sectaurs. In addition to the art books, the Kickstarter includes a brand new collected edition, Nacelleverse Year Zero, collecting all the first year of NacelleVerse comics, including the adventures of the Biker Mice From Mars, Sectaurs, Power Lords and more. Best of all, the Kickstarter is already fully funded.
