SDCC 2026: A Hero’s Path In The ‘Percy Jackson And The Olympians’ Activation

The latest adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has resonated with fans. The television series had quite a presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with a Hall H panel as well as an activation. Both were to hype up the upcoming third season. We had the opportunity to visit the activation.
The activation allowed attendees to embark on a heroes journey by selecting from the characters of Percy, Annabeth, Thalia. Each character had a distinct scroll teasing the potential path ahead. The trident shape of the activation worked well separating the three different outcomes.
We were placed in the Thalia group and our adventure involved traveling through a forrest and finding an artifact of great power. The guides along the way helped with the various photo ops. It all culminated towards Thalia’s signature weapon, a spear. When finally gripping it, the photo op could capture lighting in the background since she is a god of Zeus.
The experience went by quick, and you walked away with multiple items. First, you could keep the scroll and wristband matching your hero. Then, you were given a blind bag that contained one pin. The entire collection consists of 12 pins. Finally, on the way out, they offered a branded umbrella. Something that may not hold up in a storm, but definitely handy to block the sun on a hot San Diego summer day.
