by Olly MacNamee

Titan Comics has announced three new graphic novels coming your way early next year.  There’s Underground 2: Whirling Dervishes & Cosmic Punks, Infinite Kung Fu, and Kennedy(s). And we have covers, creative teams and plot outlines for all three to share with you today:

Infinite Kung Fu

Originally published in 2011, Infinite Kung Fu by Kagan McLeod is reprinted with previously unseen material.

“An exclusive new edition of the cult kung fu epic that fuses martial arts mayhem, magic, and zombie horror into one wildly entertaining adventure!

Set in a war-torn world ruled by ruthless martial arts masters, disgraced warrior Lei Kung embarks on a supernatural quest to overthrow a tyrannical emperor. Blending zombie horror, magic and explosive action, it celebrates classic 1970s martial arts cinema.”

Infinite Kung Fu is out on 9th February, 2027.

Kennedy(s)

Written by Philippe Pelaez with art by Bernard Khattou Kennedy(s) is a new graphic novel that explores the rise of the Kennedy dynasty, from its Irish roots to its political ambitions, triumphs and tragedies.

“On November 22, 1963, the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy plunged America into mourning and forever etched the charismatic smile of its leader into the collective memory. The myth was born, and with it, all the conspiracy theories.

To understand what led to this tragedy, it may be necessary to go back to the origins of the Kennedy clan, to grasp its shadowy aspects and its major influence on the history of the United States.”

Kennedy(s) is out 16th February, 2027

Underground 2: Whirling Dervishes & Cosmic Punks

Written by Arnaud Le Gouëfflec, with art by Nicolas Moog, Underground 2: Whirling Dervishes & Cosmic Punks is “The essential soundtrack of rebellion, innovation and artistic revolution returns,” celebrating 30+ musicians who reshaped punk, funk, folk, electronic and experimental music.

“In this biographical graphic novel, discover the cult heroes and visionary outsiders who transformed generations of punk, funk, and experimental music from the underground up.

Through vivid biographies, Arnaud Le Gouëfflec and Nicolas Moog explore the lives and legacies of iconic and overlooked artists, revealing the creative connections that continue to influence modern music and inspire generations of performers and fans.”
