Robert Kirkman, Joe Casey, And Andy Kubert’s ‘Terminal’ #1 Has Sold Out

News comes to us that Skybound /Image Comics’ hot take on the X-Men, Terminal #1 from writers Robert Kirkman and Joe Casey as well as artist Andy Kubert, has sold out at the distribution level. But I reckon you can still grab a first print at your local comic book store if you’re quick.
For anyone else, here’s a look at the two second print covers, by Rick Leonardi and Neeraj Menon, commented on by editor Alex Alonso:
“Surprise! Another legend is drawing Terminal. This time it’s Rick Leonardi, joined by colorist Neeraj Menon. He’ll be doing a whole series of second printing covers, so let’s get those sell-outs going so we can reveal even more amazing art!”
Pondering on the success of Terminal #1, Kirkman stated:
“This is one of the coolest comics ever made from the coolest creative teams in comics. I’ll be surprised if we’re not announcing the 3rd printing of issue #1 before I finish typing this quote!”
Joe Casey added:
“It’s really gratifying to see the early response to a book we’ve all worked so hard on for so long. Now we can add Rick Leonardi to the list of legendary artists we’re bringing aboard the Terminal train. And this is only the first issue — it only gets better from here!”
And Andy Kubert also spole up:
“I’m so happy and excited that Terminal has been received this well to be awarded a second printing on our first issue!!” After working on it for the last few years, fans are finally getting to see all the passion that Robert (Kirkman), Joe (Casey), Dave (McCaig), Rus (Wooton), Alex (Alonso), and I have put into it. The best is yet to come!”

Terminal #1 Second Printing is out on Wednesday, 26th August, 2026 from Skybound/Image Comics.
