Hitchcockian Thriller ‘Narco’ Gets Collected As Trade Paperback By Image Comics This Autumn

by Olly MacNamee

I seem to have been unable to avoid writer Doug Wagner and artist Daniel Hillyard this past week or so. What with my interviewing them and reviewing their new graphic novel, and now this, they’ve been busy boys. And today brings the news that their most recent serial killer, Plastic-Verse series, Narco, will get collected in a trade paperback.

“In Narco, readers meet Marcus Wesphal, a man with a rare form of narcolepsy: when he gets excited, he blacks out. He’s adapted: homebound life and a harmless infatuation with the girl next door. But when he witnesses her murder (and then immediately, annoyingly, passes out), he becomes suspect number one. Now, he must leave his apartment to pursue her killer and clear his name.”

The Narco trade paperback is out on Wednesday, 7th October, in comic book stores and booksellers on Tuesday, 3rd November, from Image Comics.
