Toy Robot’s November 4K Lineup Includes Classic Steven Seagal, ’90s Chow Yun-Fat, Japanese Fantasy And More

Toy Robot Video, the new sub-label from Arrow Video, continues its mission to release cult fare on 4K UHD and Blu-ray at a lower price point than typical Arrow releases. Their November slate will deliver action and fantasy from allover the world.
First up is legendary macho man Steven Seagal’s acting debut in 1988’s Above the Law. The ’80s action cult classic was directed by Andrew Davis (The Fugitive) and co-stars Sharon Stone, Pam Grier, and Henry Silva. The dual format 4K UHD and Blu-ray release features a brand new 4K restoration and extras including an audio commentary with Davis and Grier, interviews, trailer, and more. It arrives November 9th.
Next up is 1999’s The Corrupter, teaming Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun-Fat with Mark Wahlberg for an action saga pitting cops against Triad gangs in NYC. Directed by James Foley (At Close Range), the film boasts a brand new 4K restoration and special features including an audio commentary with Foley, interviews with cast and crew, an archival featurette, trailers, and more. The dual format 4K UHD and Blu-ray drops November 9th.
Arriving on Blu-ray November 16th, A Man of Reason is the 2022 directing debut of Korean star Jung Woo-sung (The Good, The Bad, The Weird). He plays a hitman trying to get out of the deadly business. His former boss, played by Park Sung-woong, has other plans. Special features and artwork TBA.
Finally, Zipang is a 1990 Japanese fantasy epic making its Blu-ray debut. It stars Masahiro Takashima (Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla II) as a samurai facing off against a female bounty hunter (Narumi Yasuda) in a supernatural world of ninjas and ghosts. Zipang is being released November 16th; special features and artwork TBA.
