Titan Comics’ ‘Highlander: The Original Screenplay’ Variant Covers Revealed
by Olly MacNamee
Titan Comics announced Highlander: The Original Screenplay, adapted from the original script by writer Gregory Widen, with art by Szymon Kudranski, back in March, with a first look. Now we get a look at the covers for the one-shot, which is out in November from Titan Comics. As you can imagine, there are a good deal either homaging the film or simply reproducing the movie poster as a cover. But then the poster was pretty, pretty good, so I’d be happy to grab one of those variants. Strangely enough, though, there’s still hasn’t been a main cover image released. Just the following:

“This lavishly illustrated volume (art by Szymon Kudranski) presents the immortal saga of Connor MacLeod as it was first imagined — long before it became a cult-defining cinematic classic. Spanning centuries of history, epic duels, and shadowed rivalries, Highlander: The Original Screenplay follows Connor’s journey across eras as he faces other immortals in a deadly contest for a mysterious and ultimate prize.
Returning to the story’s roots, the graphic novel offers fans a rare chance to experience Widen’s original narrative vision in full, capturing the mythic scale, tragic romance, and operatic violence that made Highlander a cultural touchstone.“
Highlander: The Original Screenplay is out on the 17th of November from Titan Comics.
